The SafetySend Secure FTP Utility is a simple-to- use, fully-automated FTP compliance that allows you to meet HIPAA and GLB compliance regulations.  What makes this application so simple and elegant is that it seamlessly integrates into the SafetySend Secure Private Network and handles the following compliance requirements in a fully-automated fashion.

• Secure User Authentication
• Automatically Assigns Expiration Date (default: 30 days)
• Automatically Assigns Recipient Password (if required)
• Allows Retraction (available via web interface)
• Logs All Activity in Audit Trail (available via web interface)
• Managed Transfer with Recovery

 

AUTOMATED FTP UTILITY -  UPLOAD

 

 

1. Click the “UPLOAD” tab
2. Browse to the file you want to transfer and select
3. Enter username and password
   1. All users use their email address as username on this system
4. Select Frequency  of Transfer
   1. Choose 1 Day, 1 Hour, 10 minutes, etc.
5. Click Start
   1. Runs as system process or manual process

 

AUTOMATED FTP UTILITY - DOWNLOAD

 

1. Click the “DOWNLOAD” tab
2. Browse to the folder where you want to save downloaded files
   1. Choose “Overwrite” or “Append File Name”
3. Enter username and password
   1. All users use their email address as username on this system
4. Select Frequency  of Transfer
   1. Choose 1 Day, 1 Hour, 10 minutes, etc.
5. Click Start
   1. Runs as system process or manual process
